Prevocational training, transportation, and long term supports
Work Enhancements with Pantheon
In our commitment to providing a full range of vocational services, our community based prevocational services seek to serve as a transitional middle ground between center based work and competitive employment. We provide transportation to center based opportunities, and we can help our clients obtain, transition, and maintain community based employment.
Grow your skills
Our prevocational services are an enhancement for those individuals who are currently in center based programming but wish to enhance their understanding of competitive employment.
Transport
Pantheon provides door-to-door transportation for our prevocational services and work centers throughout Waukesha County. Currently, we are unable to provide any dedicated transportation for community employment.
Maintain Employment
We partner with Milwaukee area managed care organization (MCO) and individual service models (IRIS) programs in order to offer long term supports on the job.
Center Based Work Enhancements
-
Pantheon utilizes instructors who are trained in the Skills to Pay the Bills educational curriculum to help facilitate learning about the critical skills necessary for competitive employment. This curriculum is hands on and covers a variety of topics such as co-worker interaction, customer interactions, problem solving, career exploration and job seeking skills
-
Pantheon’s prevocational services seek to get individuals out into the community as much as possible in order to learn more about and practice interacting in competitive employment settings. We are constantly working to develop new sites and training opportunities in order to expand offerings in this area.
-
Our Prevocational programming will also utilize the results of career exploration to help facilitate job shadows in the community. These job shadows help individuals “see” what the work environments are like, ask questions from current workers and supervisors and facilitate more informed vocational decision making.
