Group Home Manager for Anthony Home

Steve Steffen began his employment with Prader-Willi Homes of Oconomowoc in September of 2008 as a fill in staff member for all of the PWHO homes; with his primary location being at Doherty Home. He continued to be on a temporary basis until September 2010 when he accepted Doherty Home’s Assistant Manager Position. After seven months of being in an Assistant role Steve was offered the position of Group Home Manager with Anthony Home in May of 2011, which he eagerly accepted.

Steve graduated from UW - Whitewater with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. With his degree and years of volunteer experience with young children it has proven to be a positive influence with the men at Doherty Home.
If asked what his favorite part of working with PWHO Steve would reply,

"To put it simply, the SMILES on the resident’s faces. There is nothing greater then to know that you are making a difference in the lives of other people everyday, and that your position is more then just what you do, it is who you are. The residents of PWHO have given me more on-the-job satisfaction and taught me more about myself then I ever knew.”

Steve grew up in Osceola, WI but currently resides in Madison, WI. Steve is a huge Packers and Brewers fan and in his spare time he enjoys recreational activities like basketball and football, listening to music, and traveling to visit friends, family, and new places.
