Job Placement
Proper job placement is an essential component for some individuals who may otherwise have difficulty finding a proper vocational fit. Instruction is also provided in the essentials of job seeking and job keeping skills.

The Pantheon Vocational Development Center's history of working with people with a variety of issues allows us to understand the considerations that must be taken into account in job placement activities. The staff focuses on individual needs when considering: type of employment setting, accessibility and transportation availability, interpersonal interactions, job requirements, the employer's willingness to provide accommodations and the individual's desires and goals for their employment.
Vocational Evaluation
Vocational evaluation offers the worker, counselors, parents, and other individuals an opportunitity to learn more about the worker's skills, aptitudes, interests, and abilities. This can be an invaluable tool when making decisions about training, educational options, and career directions.

The Pantheon Vocational Development Center is equipped to offer a full range of evaluations, from half day psychometric assessments to comprehensive vocational evaluations. Each evaluation is individualized to best serve the person's needs.
Evaluations may include:
Work samples (real or simulated work)
Vocational interest testing
Career exploration
Psychometric assessment of skills and abilities
Aptitude assessment
Vocational counseling
Transferable skills analysis
Work Experiences
Work Experiences offer individuals an opportunity to engage in real (paid) work in an actual work envrionment. This is extrememly useful for individuals with a limited work history or those who wish to gain vocational experience in a specific field or setting.

The Vocational Development Center utilizes its long-standing community associations and placement specialists to create an opportunity in the area of interest for the individual person. The staff provides potential job accommodations as well as the individualized job coaching and training to ensure a safe and positive work experience.
Transition Services
The Pantheon Vocational Development Center works to provide a comprehensive range of services to aid area high schools in the successful transition of its students. These services can include career counseling and interest testing, evaluation and assessment, work experience facilitation or co-op programs. Services may also include work adjustment training at our work center or integrated enclaves and job coaching.

Work Adjustment
Work adjustment services are designed to assist an individual in developing the necessary interpersonal skills, work behaviors, attitudes, and job performance required to obtain and maintain successful employment. This is primarily accomplished through use of vocational counseling, educational and skill instruction, and behavioral modification techniques.
Work adjustment is an often overlooked, yet critical component of many transition and placement plans.
Supported Employment
Pantheon also provides comprehensive supported employment services. This ranges from a supported employment assessment (a majority of which takes place in the community), to supported employment placement and additional long term supports to enhance success. Supported employment is designed to help the individual who may have additional barriers to employment and will require long term supervision and additional training/accomodations in order to find and maintain employment.
Integrated Employment
Integrated Employment is designed to be an individualized combination of pre-vocational and competitive employment services. Working with the comprehensive rehabilitiation team, Pantheon works to find community or supported employment opportunities that will augment the pre-vocational services the client is receiving. This helps the client maintain a consistent schedule and consistent skill development, yet receive the benefits of working in the community.
